Dan Williams
Director of Corporate Sponsorship
Dan Williams is a survivor of the Chardon High School shooting on February 27, 2012. Dan was a sophomore in high school when he witnessed the shooting, and he returned to the same high school for two and a half years before graduating and pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. In college, this tragedy drove him to seek out opportunities to give back through community service. However, it wasn’t until finding the Rebel’s Project in 2019 that he began to make a difference for other survivors of
mass tragedies. Starting out in 2020 by assisting the Rebels Project with fundraising, he quickly moved into a new role as Director of Corporate Sponsorship with the Rebels Project in 2023. Dan has a passion for outreach with other survivors that has led him to work closely with an online survivor support group to try and bring survivors together. It is there that he hopes to help other survivors
realize that they, too, can heal at their own pace and find their “new normal.”
Dan is an Ohio native who now works in Evansville, IN, as an Operations Engineer for a large chemical manufacturer. He enjoys traveling, hiking, playing video games, and hanging out with friends and family.
